Established in 1911 and the oldest business operating in Zephyrhills, The Zephyrhills News takes pride in our ability to get into the nooks and crannies of the community to celebrate people, the events, and the institutions that contribute to the vibrancy of the area.
The newspaper is independently owned by Yakawiak Enterprises LLC, the publisher and editor is Jan Linville.
We are a paid subscription, two-section, broadsheet newspaper; the same size as a major daily newspaper. We are delivered every Thursday by the U.S. Postal Service, available in rack sales throughout high-traffic areas, as well as in major retail stores such as Publix, Walmart and CVS. Our publication contains local community content regarding our schools, health care, community organizations, churches, businesses, as well as youth and adult sports and recreation.
Due to our close community coverage, national retailers such as Publix, CVS, Ollie’s Bargain Warehouse, and Rooms to Go insert their weekly advertising circulars inside our paper.
